The Nigerian Army has explained why the men of the Army Headquarters Garrison, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja, took over the premises of a company belonging to Mr. Robert Azibaola, a cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday. Sani Usman, told one of our correspondents in a text message that the land in question belonged to the Army.  Usman said the Army decided to take over the property because the service did not want any further encroachment on the property. WARRI- VOICE Delta, a group waging war against renewed militancy in the Niger-Delta region has disclosed how the Federal Government could seize the supposed leader of the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, within one week. The group in series of tweets on its twitter handle, urged President Muhmmadu Buhari to stop foot dragging on the option of constituting a civilian JTF in the Niger-Delta, which it had offered privately and publicly to the Federal Government. “Let us state this fact; a vast majority of the people of the Niger Delta will welcome the setting up of the civilian JTF to fight criminals. *Say two suspects, Stanley, Felix seized by NNS Delta not NDA members WARRI- THE Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, this morning, confronted the Commander of Operation Delta Safe, Rear Admiral Joseph Okojie and Commanding Officer, NNS Delta, Commodore Joseph Dzunye, asking them to come to the creeks of the Niger Delta, rather than stay in the cities and arrest “sleeper” agents, who they brand as NDA members to curry favour from their superiors. Spokesperson of NDA, self-styled Brig General Mudoch Agbinibo, threw the challenge in a statement rebutting the claim by NNS Delta commander on Saturday that two suspects, Stanley Tonghan and Felix Miyenminiye, arrested by the navy, few days ago, were members of the militant group.
